GRAPPLE
Unreal Engine Game
During my time at PSQ we got to create a small game of our choosing in the Unreal Engine.

I wanted to make something that was focused on transportation, where the player must grapple onto boxes in the sky, and retrieve all of the yellow balls.

Grapple Mechanic
I wanted to make a core mechanic that served in making the movement fast and interesting.
​
I attempted to place the boxes and the yellow balls in a way so that the player would see a ball, and then be able to look around and figure out the best path there.
​
I wanted the player to feel comfortable enough with the movement that they'd want to keep going in every possible direction. And I placed an unknown amount of balls around the level to motivate players to get up high and check every box.
